Tourists can spend the night in military tents at Romania’s Rasnov Citadel this weekend

02 August 2016

The tourists who want to have a unique experience in Romania can try sleeping in one of the six tents to be installed at the Rasnov Citadel in central Romania on August 5-6.

Those interested can book a place in a military tent on the Airbnb platform. Meanwhile, the city hosts the 2016 edition of the Historical Film Festival.

“With each edition of the festival we want to offer a complete and unique experience, through the movies, music, and events we organize. This time, we wanted to go a little bit further and give participants the opportunity to spend the night like soldiers in military tents installed in Rasnov Citadel’s courtyard,” said Mihai Dragomir, coordinator of the Rasnov Historical Film Festival, reports local Hotnews.ro.

The Film Festival started on July 29 and will end on August 7. This year’s edition includes more than 40 films, 13 concerts and special events, two exhibitions and a book fair. Find out more about the festival here.
