Trucks get more financing from leasing companies than cars in Romania
The total value of financing granted by local leasing companies reached EUR 1.2 billion in the first nine months of the year, up by 21% compared to the same period in 2014.
This positive evolution will continue in the fourth quarter, according to Felix Daniliuc, president of the Financial Companies Association in Romania – ALB, who expects the market to reach EUR 1.6 billion for the whole year, reports local Profit.ro.
Within the financing granted for vehicles, the share of trucks and utility cars rose at the expense of motor vehicles. Trucks and other heavy vehicles accounted for 41% of the total auto financing granted by leasing companies. Light commercial vehicles such as vans had a share of 11%.
The leasing market recorded an increase in the number of recovered goods.
