Two bids for EUR 13.8 mln IT infrastructure protection system in Romania
IT companies Ager Business Tech and Romsys submitted bids to provide antivirus and antimalware protection services for the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ IT infrastructure, in a contract estimated at EUR 13.8 million (VAT included), for a period of four years, reports Wall-street.ro.
Romsys has signed Bitdefender and Romanian Soft Company as subcontractors.
"We need to purchase such services to protect against computer viruses and malicious software, spyware, spam," reads the specification available on www.e-licitatie.ro.
The IT protection services will be provided in over 200 locations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
