Xerox opens new service center in Bacau, Romania
Xerox, one of the biggest document management companies in the world, will expand its operations in Romania by opening a new customer service center in Bacau.
The group will hire 140 people in the new facility, which will serve its customers in Italy. This is why Xerox is looking for Italian speaking candidates with some previous experience in call-centers. The group will increase the number of employees as it diversifies the offered services.
“The Bacau center not only expands Xerox’ presence in Romania, but joins a global network that processes information for clients worldwide,” said Roberto Montandon, Vicepresident Strategy and Business Development, Customer Care Services, at Xerox.
Xerox has six other service centers in Romania, two of which are in Bucharest, three in Iasi and one in Oradea. The centers have more than 2,000 employees. The group has 160 centers and 55,000 agents worldwide.
Xerox is one of the biggest producers and suppliers of color and black-and-white printers, multifunction systems, photocopiers, digital production printing presses, and related consulting services and supplies. The company had total sales of USD 26.6 billion in 2014.
