Romania’s largest mobile operator, Orange, will launch Apple’s iPhone 4 in Romania on Friday, September 24. The telephone which will be available both online and in selected stores, the operator said Thursday. The iPhone 4 is enabled with video calling with FaceTime and comes with a high-resolution display, HD video recording, a 5-megapixel camera, Apple A4 processor and more, Orange Romania said in a press release.

With wines accounting for around 10 percent of real,- Hypermarket Romania's food and beverage sales a year, the retailer has decided to expand the selection of wines it sells in its stores. It has recently introduced new wines from Georgia, Turkey and China into its offer, reaching a selection of 600 wines from across the world. Out of these, 320 are Romanian wines. real,- Hypermarket has recently launched a printed catalog with the wines in its offer.

Romania will emerge from recession behind most other countries, as the crisis hit with a six-month delay, Prime Minister Emil Boc has said. The recession didn't affect Romania until the end of 2008, while most of the world economies were impacted earlier that year, Boc told a meeting with the Romanian community in New York.

Rating agency Coface has left its sovereign rating on Romania unchanged at “B” in September, the lowest rating in central and eastern Europe, the agency said Wednesday. Romania and neighbor Bulgaria have been under "B" rating since June 2009.
