The tourist information touch screens, which have been installed in the Universitate passage earlier this year but have stayed in their factory wrapping every since are finally functional and have attracted tourists and locals alike. The multimedia equipments installed by the Bucharest City Hall in the passage include the touch screens, as well as interactive areas on the floor.

This week as a change of scene I am commenting on a wine shop rather than a wine bar. Ethic Wines is an independent wine shop based opposite Floreasca fruit and vegetable market. The shop is owned and run by Cornel and Lucian, a pair of wine enthusiasts who appreciate the grape.

The Romanian Central Bank (BNR) headquarters, located in the old part of Bucharest, the Lipscani area, will host a museum after the end of ongoing restoration works. The BNR palace, which was built in 1880, will organize a museum in the hall, which was initially meant for hosting those who were there for bank operations.

The Dubliner is an Irish bar, an institution among many, and it has been around for seventeen years on the Bucharest Night Life scene. It has the feel of a traditional Irish bar and has a loyal gang of regulars which sit at the bar solving the problems of the world.
