Slawomir Nizalowski is the new general manager of Mars Romania. He will replace Tomasz Pawlowski, who has become general manager of Mars' subsidiary in Poland, the company has announced.

Romanian MP Liana Dumitrescu died Thursday morning at the Elias emergency hospital in Bucharest of a rare brain disease, sources in the hospital said. She was 38.
