The rate of software piracy in Romania has dropped in the last two years, remained constant in Europe and is rising worldwide, according to data made public Tuesday by the Romanian Police Department, Business Software Alliance (BSA) and the General Prosecutor's Office. Romania's piracy rate is among the highest in the European Union – 65 percent, according to data from last year. It went down from 72 percent in 2007 but is still double the EU average.

All authorized Bucharest cab companies will be allowed to pick up clients from the Bucharest Henri Coanda (Otopeni) airport from November 11 is they fulfill several minimum mandatory conditions, the Transport Ministry has decided.
