Construction company Romstrade, owned by Romanian businessman Nelu Iordache, has landed a EUR 1.25 million additional contracts for works on the Bucharest North ring road. The contract was awarded for design and execution works on the segment 1A-DN2 of the north ring road.

The lower Chamber of the Romanian Parliament voted on Monday the draft law on the National Integrity Agency (ANI) with 204 to two votes and two abstentions. Members of the social democratic (PSD) opposition party refused to vote on the bill and left the meeting.

The fire, which started started in the resuscitation unit, was soon after extinguished, but 11 newborn babies were affected. They were one or two days old and premature born. As events unfolded, not all the babies had been identified, while mothers were waiting outside the hospital for news.
